Daily Lily - April 20

So, the months have gone by since Jeff has been home and I have not been blogging a whole lot. I'm sorry! I know you guys miss seeing Lily and hearing about her antics.

To be honest, life has been CRAZY! Lily is busier then ever and I barely have a moment at the end of the day to catch my breath. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed with it all, but I press on. Luckily, Lily is a fairly easy child.

Lily will be 9 months old on the 24th. When folks told me when I was pregnant that it goes by SO FAST, I let it kind of go in one ear and out the other. Now that she is here and it is indeed going by SO FAST, I know what they meant. I look back at her pictures and I can hardly believe she was once a tiny little baby struggling with reflux and barely gaining any weight. I recently took some of her preemie sized clothes to GoodWill and I got a bit teary eyed thinking about how teensy and fragile she once was.
Now, she is so tall and vibrant. She has SO much personality and just lights up a room as soon as she enters. She is always smiling and waving these days. I LOVE it!

Lily just started crawling. She is still in the "army crawl" phase, but she moves pretty quick and is into EVERYTHING!

Tonight I had spring peas and blanched prunes for dinner. YUMMY! Two of my favorites. Oh and I also had a piece of raison bagel. :-)

Don't worry, after letting me get all messy, Momma gave me a nice warm bath. :-)

Daily Lily - March 13.

The weather outside is DELIGHTFUL this weekend! Mom and I have been spending time outside enjoying the sunshine and warm temp. Yesterday, we went for a walk with a few friends so mom put on my UV protectant hat. Stylish AND functional...
Do you like my shirt? Momma made it. Do you like my capris? They were PANTS 3 months ago! Mom says I am growing like a weed.

Lily is getting SO long! Those little knit "pants" are now perfect capris. This is the case for a lot of her pants. She is not getting very wide at all though. She can still wear 0-3 or 3-6 month shirts and tops, but I have to buy her 6-9 or 6-12 month pants for the length and just pin the waist so that they stay up. She is a long skinny girl. I wish they sold size 3-6 month TALL sizes...that would be perfect for my little bean.

Hi! I am 7 months old now..here are a few pictures of what I have been up to these days...



I love to swing in the swings...


I got a brand new stroller last month, it is REALLY neat. Mom takes me for walks to the park.





I am eating solid foods now! My favorite foods so far are broccoli, avocado, bread, noodles, sweet potato,carrots, peas and green beans.


I can ride in a grocery cart now too! Do you like my cover??? It is REALLY comfy.
